HAPPY BIRTHDAY REMUS!! (well, for tomorrow, 10th of March)

Soooooo... this is my first landscape sized portrait, and my first with two people! Wow! lol :D

To me, it's pretty obvious who the bases are... because I didn't change them that much... lol. It's Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman. I've never even contemplated having Nicole Kidman as a base for Tonks, but I saw this picture in my collection, and it reminded me of that cartoon I drew of them, and Nicole had this cheeky sort of look on her face that I thought would fit Tonks.

Remus was just too easy. lol. I changed Ewan's hair, his nose and his jawline to suit my cartoon Remus... oh... and I whipped off his shirt... heh heh... lol.
I (obviously) changed Nicole's gorgeous locks, and I am quite proud of Tonks' hair actually... I also changed her mouth, and gave her an ear, so she wouldn't look like Van Gough... lmao (coz the hair was covering it in the original). And I changed the shape of her face to be heart shaped... that was... interesting... :XD:

H, 8B & 9B pencil.

Overall, I'm quite happy with it. And... I GOT MY SCANNER BACK!!! YAY!! :heart: scanner *kisses it* No longer shall I have to put up with blue for green!! No longer shall I have to repeatedly kill my parents scanner!! lol. So... cha... long live scanner!!

ANYWAY! Consider this my apology for not being on lately. I love you guys. Please comment!!

That's so cool!! I love the expressions! They look so cute and I really like the black/grey contrast *__* It all looks so 3-dimensional :aww:

The soft shading is lovely, and adds a subtle softness. I love the eyes on both of them: Remus' are closed and sweet, and Tonks' are wide and full of life. =D

It's beautiful! She looks happy and a little bit triumphant - she's finally snagged her man! And I love his intense concentration on kissing her and the gentleness in his touch! Wonderful interpretation on a lovely HP couple who I really wish all the best of luck in the upcoming end of the adventure.
