This is so beautiful and heart-breaking. The unconditional love Thor shows Loki is so touching. He'd rather die than hurt Loki. He shows that he loves Loki in The Avengers but not as much as he could. I think the real reason Loki is so angry is because Thor wasn't there when he found out that he was a frost giant and adopted. He needed Thor to show him that he still loved and accepted him and that he'd always be his brother. He may have not been there for Loki before, but he's here for him now.
